CELEBRATE YOUR STORY, RAW AND IN PROCESS ❁ WORDCRAFT ❁
For the last five years, Wordcraft has been holding spaces for you to answer the question - What do you really want to say?
Hey poet, welcome to Wordcraft
Everything I do orbits around holding space for people to find their voice and celebrate their story, raw and in process.
In my practice, I merge a decade of classroom and workshop experience with my love for writing as a mode of self-expression, everything I do is organic, free flowing and anchored in a deep trust of my own process and how that flows and supports you finding your own.
I went from paralysed in social anxiety and perfectionism, steeping in low self worth and believing my voice had no place, no right to be heard, to winning an Australian Championship with a first draft and changing the directory of my life.
The work I’ve done as a teacher, facilitator and poet has impacted tens of thousands of people around the country and the world - my range extends from the classroom to the stage, from the one to one space to theatre performances, my art and work spirals up and outwards from the heart and everything I do is anchored in the power of our voices.
I have a deep belief in how spirit comes through us to teach us about ourselves and our stories. Writing is a conduit and our stories are all we leave behind.
The more we harness our relationship with our words, the deeper our connection to our human experience and I have countless stories of how the written and spoken word has been the fuel for the constant unfurling of my own and clients’ lives.
I’m here to support your discovery of what yours looks like and how you can stand on the stage and watch the way you see yourself change x
I’M WREN RAPTURE, national award-winning poet, literary judge, facilitator and mistress of ceremonies.

COACHING
-
For a coaching chapter, the investment is
$1500
This can be made in a single paymentOR
a payment plan of
2x $750OR
3x $500.
The first payment MUST be made before commencing our work together and all client work is facilitated under a legal contractual agreement which you are encouraged to read and discuss before signing.
-
1:1 chapters are facilitated over
6 weeks.
Alternating with one week In, one week ‘Out
In = In session.
Out = Out of session.
Which technically works out to be 12 weeks, yet the nature of the container is spacious and sustainable. Each 1.5hr session is facilitated over Zoom.
During In weeks, we have our session and explore your relationship with your writing, your intentions, blockages and skills. We write, edit, play and develop towards your desired outcomes.
In your Out weeks, you are offered exercises, experiences and challenges to support your writing goals and these are then used as the next springboards for your development.
The idea is at the end of the Chapter, you have developed a body of work and made active progress that supports the longevity of your creative practice.
Throughout the chapter, we check in casually and conversationally via What’s App and you send me your progress updates and I am forever your cheerleader.
As a Wordcraft Writer, you attend Wordcraft Open Mics for free while enrolled in a chapter and are always encouraged to get on the mic!
For any more questions, you can book a no obligation phone call and I’ll make everything clear. x
For local workshop opportunities - check out our events page and follow on socials.
Wordcraft has the capacity to curate a range of workshops - over the years, writing and performance workshops have been enjoyed across councils, in school classrooms, libraries, local communities and more.
Each workshop is woven from my decade of classroom experience, my own writing practice and whatever is in the room with the participants on the day.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Everything you write is ready to be shared. Perfection is a myth and Wordcraft exists to hold space for your humanity. Raw and in process. That means, show up exactly as you are. Whether you’re getting on the stage with a piece that you have memorised all the way to your core, or you have jumbled words together on your phone or the back of your hand - speak!
-
Seriously, everything is a poem.
Let go of any belief that halts you in your tracks - wherever you are is where you are and it is exactly who needs to be in the spotlight. You do not know how your moment will impact someone else and that’s the magic of doing it for yourself first, the impact ripples.
-
What does it actually mean to be a ‘writer?’
For me, I believe everyone has a writer in them. It’s a gateway to communicate, express, explore, celebrate, lament - all the shades of the human experience are welcome on the stage and on the page.
We might use writing as our gateway into self expression, but we do not limit ourselves to only ‘working’ with ‘writers.’Wordcraft is for humanity. Our spaces are here for you to explore your self expression and I’m always open to discussing where you’re at and how my services can support your self development journey.
-
Wordcraft Open Mic tickets are $28 - if you’re in a position where this is not accessible, we have capacity to gift tickets on the door. You will need to get in touch via Instagram - @wordcraftwren to discuss.
Regarding coaching - we can have a conversation about what is in your budget and how my services can work within this budget.
If you are open to a service exchange, I am open to a discussion about this kind of relationship.
I wouldn’t want finances to get in the way of you being able to access services that support you, however I do have boundaries around how much I can offer to maintain the integrity and professionalism of my work. As I’m sure if you’ve read this far, you might appreciate. -
Yes! Get me up there! I love hosting and bringing fun, vibrancy and humour to the stage.
Come along to Wordcraft and see if my hosting style is the vibe you’re looking for.
Let’s chat about your event brief and go from there.
